Riverton Arts Centre has recently launched an ARTS TRAIL BROCHURE featuring 8 artists in the WESTERN
SOUTHLAND area who have studios or shops you can visit on the
Southern Scenic Route. Available from information centres in Invercargill, te Anau and
Riverton or phone us to have a copy posted to you.
Riverton Arts Centre now has a SMALL GIFT GALLERY featuring small artworks,
cards, pottery and more.
ABOUT RIVERTON ARTS
CENTRE
The Riverton Community Arts Centre opened in December 2000, to
increase the exposure of the Arts in Riverton. The Centre aims
to provide an outlet for diverse, quality art, both local and
from further afield. The Arts Centre is available as an exhibition,
performance, and teaching space.
Membership fee is NZ$30 p.a.
Arts Centre members receive newsletters listing scheduled events,
invitations to exhibition openings, and other information.

Exhibitors /Performers
Interested practitioners may submit a portfolio or a proposal
to the Arts Centre Trust for consideration.
We are a contact point for local artists and those who have exhibited
here.
Rental of the gallery is
NZ$125 + GST per week.
We have
a small retail Gallery where artists can sell their work on
an ongoing basis with
a
35% commission charged on sales.
Gallery Hours: 12noon &
4pm Wednesday - Sundays during exhibitions
The gallery is sometimes
closed for a few days between exhibitions, and for a few weeks
in winter.
